Greetings fellow traveler,

Thanks for stopping by. The purpose of this page is to share my new album, which, by the way, is just beginning to exist. This is a place where you can drop by from time to time and witness said creation as it materializes over time.

This project will consist of 10 songs. The core of every track will be a one-take recording of me playing the song, as my dad would say, all by my lonesome. Over time, other instruments and voices will be added, one by one, week by week.  The updated versions will replace their predecessors, only to be replaced themselves eventually. This will continue until one of the following occurs; I've run out of bells and whistles, I am content, or something breaks.

I'm very excited to share this experience with you, warts and all.  You may be asking yourself what a wart sounds like. Warts have many sounds. An ambulance driving by. A dog's paws walking across wood-textured plastic flooring. Birds. My own mistakes. And so on...

I don't expect this to sound like it was recorded in a studio by an expert. But, I do expect it to sound like heart.

Songs can be streamed or downloaded below. They can also be downloaded from Soundcloud.

Alright then. Here we go.

I've uploaded the next 2 songs, Out of Business, and Get Well Soon. Out of Business was originally written to an instrumental given to me by DJ Bird Peterson. He does fantastic work and you should check him out!

The final four songs to have arrived. The bass is thumping in the apartment above me, and I'm pretty sure its because they're so proud of me. With all 10 songs accounted for, I'm gonna start adding more instruments and voices to the recordings. I'll let you know as I make updates.

Don's Fish has been updated(piano and clarinet), as well as Fording the River(now a piano tune instead of guitar).  I've been working on my live set and have been neglecting the album for some time now, but I'm back on it, so the updates are going to start picking up speed.  Also, happy birthday to my Mom!
